Severn Bridges Trust - Objectives 

The Charitable Objects are

  1. To provide a permanent Visitors Centre explaining the many professions and disciplines involved in construction using as illustration the Severn Bridge, the Second Severn Crossing, together with their associated Approach Roads, the Severn Tunnel and the former ferry crossings of the Estuary;

  2.  To promote the Centre for use by the general public, schools, colleges and universities each side of the Estuary and the national and international engineering professions;

  3. To explain to the general public the broad spectrum of engineering disciplines and other professions involved through displays and multi media systems including environmental aspects of construction projects

A Business Plan is produced each year by the Trust and an Annual Newsletter.

A management Group of current supporters meets regularly to assist the Trustees in the running of the Centre.
