The Severn Bridges Visitor Centre is now closed

The Severn Bridges Trust will continue to provide information via this website as a means of carrying out the Trust's objectives.  The Trust is in the final stages of expanding this website to a comprehensive one containing the information previously on display in the Centre and expanded to give full details of the construction of both bridges.

This website is a source for educational information on the Severn Bridges (including their history, information on traffic conditions, tolls and the local weather), bridges generally, engineering, designers, constructors, the local environment, engineering careers and much more.

Car parking is available at the location of the former Visitor Centre for those taking the spectacular walk along the estuary.  It is a very short distance from the public footpath and cycle route along the Binn Wall, which affords excellent views of the bridges.
